the people of the rural and sub-urban communities in and around Hosur. The program is operated mainly in 26 villages in the programs target area but extends sometimes far beyond it.

In the first three month of 2009,a total of 22 medical camps(mobile clinics) wear conducted,averaging 2 camps a week.They were help in 19 different villages and other locations.A total of around 1,600 people including the elderly and the poor were benefited;about 1000 of them were women. These statistics not only show impressive accomplishments of Anantha Ashrams community health program but also that its services are being expanded into newer areas arpund Hosur.
Mobil clinics in the villages sometimes have to be held in unusual location. The picture on right shows a health camp in mathigiri village being held under a huge banyan three whose enormous downward-extending clusters of roots provide an interesting backdrop.

The photo on the below shows Dr.subramani(right corner),another senior medical officer,attending patients,including the elderly and the young, at a village health camb. Dr.subramani,with a post-graduate degree in public health program and also Anantha Asrams recently appointed medical superintendent.

The community Health program and its free mobil clinics and health camps are being promoted vigorrously in the village. The picture at the top of next page shows our community Health Assistant Radhakrishan using a bullhorn a free mobile camb to be held in that village and distributing health volunteers
