Anantha Ashram, a registered charitable trust, was established in the year 1989, with a vision of promoting and practising eternal (anantha) values of Love and Compassion in the community. Its general objective is toserve the physical, social and spiritual needs of the people.

With this objective in view, a small orphanage for abandoned babies was started in 1991 near Mathigiri village of Hosur Taluk, Tamil Nadu.  Since the, Anantha Ashram has gradually and steadily extendied its social services in five areas, namely:

1.Home for Abandoned babies and Orphans
2.Health services for the rural poor
3.Hospital care for the needy
4.Education aid to the disadvantaged
5.Meditation center for the disheartened
